What to expect from your session
Why does InCollab Designs require documents 72 hours before the session?
We do research and preparation 72 hours or more before every session. That means reviewing your plans, researching your specific situation, and preparing recommendations before we ever get on the call. We require all documents at least 72 hours in advance so we have the time to do that work properly. Sessions cannot be scheduled until documents are received.
What kinds of problems can a strategy session solve?
Strategy sessions are designed for complex, high-stakes decisions — layout issues that a plan review flagged but did not fully resolve, stalled or troubled projects, contractor coordination problems, pre-construction design decisions, and situations where you need expert perspective before committing to a direction.
Is the session held over video call?
Yes. Sessions are conducted via Zoom. The full session is recorded and the recording is sent to you afterward so you have a complete reference of every recommendation made.
Who should be on the call?
Anyone with a stake in the decisions being made — homeowners, builders, investors, contractors, or partners. The more relevant decision makers present, the more effective the session. You can list who will attend in your submission.
What is the difference between a strategy session and a plan review?
A plan review is an asynchronous deliverable — you submit plans and receive marked-up feedback within 5–7 business days. A strategy session is a live, two-way conversation designed for more complex situations where you need to work through decisions in real time with an expert.
Can I book a strategy session without submitting plans first?
Yes. Sessions are not limited to plan review clients. If you are mid-project, managing a build, or need strategic clarity on a design or construction problem, you can submit directly for a session without a prior plan review.
What happens after I book?
After you submit the form, you'll be directed to a calendar to select your preferred session time. Then you'll proceed to secure checkout to complete payment. Once payment is confirmed, we'll send you a welcome email with the confirmed session details and instructions on what to prepare and send ahead of our meeting.
How much does a strategy session cost?
Strategy sessions start at $1,500. Pricing may vary based on project complexity and scope. You'll receive exact pricing when you submit your request.
Can I request follow-up work or revisions after the session?
The session includes live consultation and a recorded reference, but not revision deliverables. If you want to turn recommendations into marked-up plans or full design work, that becomes a Plan Review or Custom Plan Design engagement. We can discuss options based on your needs.
